Evaluate store performance

Compare how often customers examine devices vs. how cabinets are opened and phones / tablets are handed out to people buying them.

View all stores and get data on a company level … Zoom in and get the facts on event level at the day and hour of the week.

Compare with the same period last year – month, week, day, hour.

– Did you reach your goals for Black Friday? How about your goals for December?

2

Events, that are loged:

  1. Alarms: number of
  2. AlarmStopped: number of alarms shut off
  3. Examined: devices examined by potential customers while armed on the Swans
  4. Open: openings of cabinets – e.g. when a customer have tried the device on the Swans and decides to purchase, you open the closet to your stock.

Drill down to single store and investigate data on a store level

Events by day and time of day

Evaluate Employee performance

Step in smarter and faster on employee performance. Compare your team across stores or dig deep in successes or failures of that specific team or employee.

View all stores: get data on a company level … Drill down: examine the individual salesman.

While at work, Belotti has relatively few potential customers examining phones and tablets on display. Still he has quite a lot of openings of closets were devices are stored ready for buying customers.

He is a Salesmen! What is it he does so well?

Can he figure as an example for his colleagues?

2

Does the expected number of display events happen while he is at work? What is his performance level? Can we accelerate?

Evaluate Events by Country

What is the matter with Athens? Why aren’t your store there generating events like your stores in Copenhagen, Barcelona and Paris? It is placed in the wrong area of town? Are your displays organized differently? Is the Greek recession at stake – or is it just because the store is newly established and people do not really know it yet?

Take action immediately. Nip complications in the bud.

1

Large circles testify to stores that generate few events – big ones, to the opposite!

Evaluate Events by Brand

Say, that the profit margin of the LG is 3 times higher than the iPhone 7! Then, perhaps it would be wise to rearrange and give it a more prominent position in your displays. In addition, you could ask your sales personel to promote it to more aggressively to generate more events and eventually better sales.

Zoom out for the wide perspective or drill down to the individual brand of phone or tablet.

Perhaps it is time to promote the LGs. They’re really cool devices – and they do have the highest profit margin … and as of yet they aren’t really examined by customers and not really sold!

Backtrack Theft, Missing Devices, Vacant Display Stands …

Decide smarter and faster in regards to employee performance. Compare performance across stores and dig deeper in the success or failure of the individual store or employee.

Zoom out for a wider perspective … drill down for the individual.

Where’s that iPhone 7?

At 10:19:14 on July 4 your store in Amsterdam had an alarm on display Channel 1, Sensor 10. The alarm lasted 12 seconds before being shot off by your sales clerk, John Smith who used his personal keycard. An iPhone 7 had been displayed and now it’s missing, but nothing was reported after the incident. Has the phone been stolen or just misplaced? Why didn’t the sales clerk notice it was gone? Investigate – confront the employee responsible.

2

5 of the Swans in your store in Amsterdam hasn’t been used for display the entire month of February. Why so? Better give the store a call and tell them to use all available display space.

Display Space not Connected to Devices

Keep track of  busy and vacant display stands and check if the changes in the display you requested yesterday has been carried out already.

Zoom in on the specific store, channel and sensor or broaden your perspective to view displays on a company level.

In your Amsterdam outlet, Sensor 1 on Channel 6 has been vacant for almost a month. Why is that? Why doesn’t the store use that display space?

Is it a technical issue? Are they out of stock? Or is it an example of plain and simple negligence?

Better call them and hear ’em out!

Plan from Device Popularity

What’s trending? What devices capture the attention of your customers? Use device popularity to decide on a smarter and more profitable display.

Compare  across stores or drill down to the individual display.

Dark blue signifies devices generating the most attention (events) among your customers.

2

Why aren’t people interested in the iPhone 6S? Do we need to lower the price or perhaps move it to another location?

Stop guessing, be smart and base your decisions on the facts!
